I have always loved to travel… always. When my husband and I first got married nearly 25 years ago, I chose memories over material things. Instead of a fancy wedding band to match my engagement ring, I picked a simple band and a week in Jamaica—and I’ve never regretted it for a second. When people ask what I want, my answer has almost always been the same: “Take me somewhere.”
Over the years, we’ve been blessed to travel—a lot. Jamaica, Disney World, Alaska, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland, Hawaii, Royal Caribbean cruises, Tennessee, Myrtle Beach, St. Augustine, the Florida Keys, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Belize, Savannah, Hilton Head… just to name a few. Looking back, I wish I had been blogging from the beginning, sharing our adventures and everything I’ve learned along the way.
Now that our children are older and I have a little more time, I realized something: it’s not too late. I can still share the experiences, tips, and little nuggets of travel wisdom I’ve collected over the years—along with every new adventure still to come. If I can help even one person discover the joy of travel the way I have, I’ll be overjoyed.
In this blog, I’ll be recapping many of the places we’ve been and documenting whatever comes next… London, Paris, more cruises, more Walt Disney World, and countless trendy adventures in between.
